Exclusive Licensing Program

The PWT RF System is licensed to manufacturers with RF welding capabilities. A PWT License is valuable because it delivers direct benefits to the Licensee’s product that its competitors cannot realize; lower cost raw materials, higher performance properties, improved appearance, expanded marketing channels and more.

Exclusivity: In some cases exclusive use of the technology can be secured to produce a product in a specified manufacturing territory. If an exclusive license is granted, PWT will not offer a License to produce the same product within the boundaries of the manufacturing territory.

Use-Specific:Licenses clearly define the product and use for which it is intended.

License Fees: Established by individual product application. In return for the use of PWT technology, a modest royalty, usually calculated as a percent of net dollar sales of the Licensed Product, is agreed upon in advance, with a minimum annual requirement.

TWO METHODS OF ACQUIRING PWT RF UNDER LICENSE

I. LICENSE THE TECHNOLOGY DIRECTLY FROM PWT:
A manufacturer with RF welding equipment can apply for a License to employ the PWT RF System in it’s own facility as it sees fit.

II. CONTRACT MANUFACTURING THROUGH A LICENSED PWT CONVERTER:
A company preferring to manufacturer product through a third party can arrange production through an approved PWT Licensed contract manufacturer. The contract manufacturer must apply for a use-specific license from PWT for the products it wishes to produce.
